just seems pretty slow than what I was expecting and previously experiencing. The Oct 2017 drivers won't install using the ASUS utility, and neither the 20 drivers work. In device manager, all the information about the card drivers is correct. Setup is Main machine here using this adapter with HyperX SSD, to router, router hardwired cat6 to gbit connection media server with above same ssd above. Immediately after installing 1701 yesterday, my AMD system (8-core FX) code 10'd on the PCE-AC68 and I cannot get it back. Initial install (firmware version I have no idea as I can't find the disc in the box) had me moving files at 80MB/sec +, now I've actually replaced both those drives to be 480GB HyperX Savage SSD's and it's slowed down considerably. Any others with issues with this unit ? When it's working it's pretty good but speeds seem horrible now. monster signal setup loop that just wouldn't connect and I was completely down after initial install, another version was slow as balls, 2088 seems to be the best version available and it actually picks up all of the information within the gui, all other versions most areas were blank other than, connected to 5Ghz, signal strength populated, really that's about it. I used the first firmware 2188 (after complete uninstall of anything previous) and was only able to get 10MB/sec ish. It seems the firmware options available for this unit are completely night and day between each other and very directly impact your connectability and signal transfers. Unit is connected on 5Ghz Upper band 8 feet away down 1 floor directly beneath to a Netgear X6. I reverted to 2088, seems pretty stable, speed shows as connected at 1.3Gbps but only transferring files at. Driver issues, I updated to 2188, nothing but bloody issues.
